Refund policy

Sage + Merlot pieces are thoughtfully crafted in limited quantities. We encourage customers to review product details carefully before purchasing to ensure each piece is the right choice.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, including:

- unused and unworn

- with all original tags attached

- with all original packaging and protective materials

- accompanied by proof of purchase

Returns showing signs of wear, use, damage, or alteration may not be accepted.

Please handle items with care when inspecting them. Returns that show signs of excessive handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item may not be accepted.

Due to the delicate nature of suede and natural leather, items must be returned free from marks, scent, stains, or signs of wear, including but not limited to perfume, cosmetics, or colour transfer.

Items returned with visible marks, alterations to the nap of the suede, or other signs of handling beyond standard inspection may not be accepted.

If your return request is approved, we will provide return instructions and the return address via email.

Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Please inspect your order upon receiving it.

If the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately at hello@sageandmerlot.com so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible.

Returns are not accepted for:

- items marked as final sale

- items that have been used, worn, or altered after delivery

We do not currently offer direct exchanges.

If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item following the return process and place a new order.

If your order is shipped to a country within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

The item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received: unused, unworn, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Proof of purchase is required.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.

All returned items are inspected upon receipt.
